As a fundamental requirement for earning a degree in the aforementioned profession, I underwent a cummulative nine months Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme at the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC) and Kaduna State Water Boards (KSWB). My project work was on the topic, " production, characteristics and activity test of activated carbon from a mixture of coconut shell and wood precursors". The mixture's purifying effect on industrial waste water was analysed.
