- Presently, I am involved in a national wide efforts to understudy the bio-ecology and insecticide resistance status of the principal malaria vector (Anopheles gambiae s.l.). This project is a Global Fund sponsored project, with my state of residence as a Sentinel. Since onset of the program in 2018, and as a Sentinel Officer/Technician, I have worked closely with the Principal Investigative, being saddled with the task of managing the sentinel. I am actively involved in mosquito data collection and analyses, writing of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for presentations at different vector control fora. I am also involved in training Sentinel personnel (for example, Technicians and Field mosquito data collectors. I am also actively involved in collection, rearing and screening of Anopheline mosquitoes to the four (4) major classes of insecticides. These activities are only possibly through raising and maintaining of vigorous mosquitoes colonies; these I have perfected through the years. With regards to computer literacy, I am highly proficient with Microsoft Office Application such as Microsoft Wordm Excel, Powerpoint and Access. I am also skilled in Corel Draw and willing to learn more.
