  • My training was firstly on how to familiarise myself with the necessary tools used for electrical purposes and their functions, and also PPE(personal protective equipments) so to prevent accidents while working. *I was thought on how to model a lighting point on my wiring board. *I was also thought about the types of electrical connections, both in series and parallel. *During the course of my training I was also introduced to different sizes of cables and how to Identify their volts and their functions. *I was thought different kinds of joints and how to make them. *I was also required to assist in an home electrical installation and wiring where I had the privileged to assist in cracking walls for the conduit pipes, helped in fixing in joint-boxes also assisted in stranding cables, installing of consumer units, circuit breaker, and change over points. Then upon completion of my studies I was issued a Trade Test Certificate of Competence class II Standard in Electrical Installation work.
